Description
Sambalpuri ikat is also known as bandha kala or the art of tying. The design is marked on the yarn, tied and dyed in required colours before weaving. Most of the Sambalpuri ikats are single ikat which means usually the warp is tied and dyed as per the design. This classic cream and maroon Sambalpuri ikat has geometrical motifs all over the body and pallu. Comes with a maroon blouse piece.
