This lovely grey linen saree has black self woven chain like stripes going horizontally all across the saree. The pallu is a beautiful chandan coloured satin weave. Pallu has black and grey stripes.

Kuthampully in Kerala has a cotton weaving tradition that’s over 500 years. The Devanga community which makes up most of the weavers were brought here by the Kochi royals to weave exclusively for them. Although the cluster is famous for weaving the traditional kasavu sarees and dhotis, they have also started experimenting with linen. These linen sarees come from their looms.
