Description
Although Ilkals are traditionally woven in Bagalkot region in Karnataka, this weave has been quite popular in Maharashtra during Shivaji’s reign. Several weavers were brought to regions in the state. Ichalkaranji is one such place where ilkal sarees are woven. This ilkal cotton saree is a vibrant with a green border and a little golden accent. The pallu is plain stripes.
